A contaminated printhead rarely gives you much warning. One moment your inkjet is producing clean, sharp text, barcodes, or date codes — the next your print has blank streaks because of dried-out or clogged nozzles. In most cases, regular maintenance with the right lint-free wipe is the most cost-effective thing a TIJ or DOD print operator can do to protect their equipment and eliminate unplanned downtime.

CleanJet Wipes are rated for ISO Class 3–5 cleanroom environments (Cleanroom Class 1–100, EU Grade B/C/D), tested to IEST-RP-CC004.4 standards. ISO Class 3 is among the most demanding contamination control standards in manufacturing. You're wiping a printhead, not building a microchip. That's exactly the point — a wipe rated for Class 3 environments is never going to be the source of your print quality problems.

Recommended use: Wipe the printhead face before and after each production run, and any time the cartridge or printhead has been left uncapped for more than 15 minutes. Do not apply cleaning solvents directly to the printhead — use a dry CleanJet Wipe, or one lightly dampened with water or an appropriate solution for your inkjet technology. Always cap the cartridge immediately during any storage period.
